Mahogany Introduce

A picture shows the difference between different kinds of wood :Solid wood , Hard wood , Mahogany .

Solid wood: a piece of wood processed directly from the trunk, not a composite board that is spliced and pasted with wood chips. (Solid wood is not necessarily hardwood (e.g., pine, fir, etc., which is solid wood but belongs to softwood)

Hardwood: Typically refers to dense, hard wood such as ash and birch, though not necessarily within the mahogany category.  It is characterized by high density, great hardness, and resistance to deformation.  While hardwoods are always solid wood, they may not necessarily be mahogany.

Mahogany: It must be a hardwood species meeting density and hardness standards, otherwise it cannot enter the "National Standard List"; Mahogany is a rare variety among hardwoods, primarily sourced from Southeast Asia and Africa. These species have long growth cycles and are scarce in resources, with common varieties including Hainan Huanghuali (Hainan Mahogany) and Indian Mahogany (Dalbergia odorifera).  Mahogany is definitely a hardwood and also solid wood.
